Request for Expressions of Interest
The Winnipeg Arts Council invites professional artists to submit expressions of interest to create a permanent, contemporary public artwork using elements of water and light in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
This is a national and international competition for a major artwork to mark the designation of Winnipeg as the Cultural Capital of Canada for 2010.
Budget:$575,000
Deadline for Application: Monday, September 13, 2010, 4:00 pm CST
Artists must submit a complete application package to be considered.

Local Call-to-Artists for Expressions of Interest
The Winnipeg Arts Council seeks an artist to create a literary-themed fence for Millennium Library Park in downtown Winnipeg. The Park is undergoing a significant renovation and will also be the site of a major public art project to mark the designation of Winnipeg as the Cultural Capital of Canada for 2010.
The artist must reside in, or in close proximity to, Winnipeg.
Budget: $90,000
Deadline for application: September 8, 2010
Interested artists must submit a complete application package to be considered.
