ENVIRONMENTAL ARTWORK for the BISHOP GRANDIN GREENWAY
Artists are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to create a
permanent, environmentally-based artwork integrated into the Bishop
Grandin Greenway, a greenspace that links and supports human and
wildlife communities in south Winnipeg. The completed artwork must be
environmentally-based, ecologically sensitive and should complement the
recreational and natural focus of the Greenway site. The selected
artist will develop a proposal in consultation with the City of
Winnipeg, Greenway community members, technical experts and Winnipeg
Arts Council staff.
This is a National competition open to professional Canadian artists.
Deadline for application is 31 January 2008.
Interested artists must submit a complete application package to be considered.
