Artists are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to create a permanent, environmentally-based artwork integrated into the Bishop Grandin Greenway, a greenspace that links and supports human and wildlife communities in south Winnipeg. The completed artwork must be environmentally-based, ecologically sensitive and should complement the recreational and natural focus of the Greenway site. The selected artist will develop a proposal in consultation with the City of Winnipeg, Greenway community members, technical experts and Winnipeg Arts Council staff.

This is a National competition open to professional Canadian artists.

Deadline for application is 31 January 2008.

Interested artists must submit a complete application package to be considered.
