UNIVERSITY OF WINNIPEG GATEWAY and TRANSIT PROJECT

Artists are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to create a permanent Gateway and Transit-related public art project developed in conjunction with The University of Winnipeg/Spence Street Redevelopment. The selected artist will develop a proposal in consultation with City of Winnipeg, University of Winnipeg and Winnipeg Arts Council staff that will include a transit shelter for the Ellice Avenue transit stop and associated associated public art elements at the Ellice Avenue and at the Portage Avenue stops.

This is a regional call for artists residing in close proximity to Winnipeg.

Deadline for application is October 26, 2007.
